We're looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer 🌡️🔧 to join a leading Facilities Management company, supporting a large and technically diverse estate in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a complex environment, maintaining a wide range of building services systems while developing your skills within a highly professional engineering team.
This role is ideal for engineers with strong fault-finding abilities and experience working within commercial maintenance, facilities management, healthcare, education, or large-scale estates. 🏢⚙️
🔧 What you'll be doing:
✔️ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems 🔧
✔️ Diagnosing and repairing faults on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and associated mechanical plant 🌬️❄️🔥
✔️ Maintaining AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves, and BMS-controlled equipment ⚙️
✔️ Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with Health & Safety regulations 🦺
✔️ Supporting ongoing improvement and maintenance projects across the estate 📋
✔️ Accurately updating maintenance records using the CAFM system 💻
✔️ Delivering a high standard of service and maintaining excellent communication with colleagues and stakeholders 🤝
👷 What we're looking for:
⭐ Essential:
* Recognised Mechanical or HVAC qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, or equivalent) 🎓
* Previous experience within Facilities Management, commercial maintenance, healthcare, education, or large-scale estates 🏢
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills 🔍
* Experience maintaining complex HVAC and mechanical systems ⚙️
* Proactive approach with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities 💬
⭐ Desirable:
* Experience working on large or technically challenging sites 🏗️
* Knowledge of CAFM systems 💻
* Understanding of BMS-controlled equipment and associated building services systems 🌡️
