Customer Service Administrator

The Role:
We are working with a leading law firm who are seeking a highly organised and motivated Customer Service Administrator to join their team. This role provides essential administrative support to fee earners and senior staff, ensuring the smooth running of client matters and the wider office. It is important to note that this position is
not a route into a training contract or legal qualification
. Instead, it offers an excellent opportunity for someone with
previous legal administrative experience
who enjoys working in a legal environment and is looking to build a long-term career in administration. Flexibility in working hours can be offered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Opening new client files, preparing engagement paperwork, and issuing invoices
* Managing client enquiries (phone and email), ensuring prompt and professional responses
* Supporting fee earners with day-to-day administrative tasks to ease workload pressures
* Maintaining accurate client and case records using internal systems
* Monitoring deadlines and key dates to ensure cases progress smoothly
* Managing shared inboxes and triaging tasks for the wider team
* Drafting straightforward correspondence and basic documents as required
* Assisting with occasional meetings with the MD and senior team in London
About You:
* Previous legal administrative experience is essential
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident and professional communicator, able to manage a high volume of enquiries
* Comfortable with IT systems and quick to learn new software (HOOLA or LEAP experience an advantage)
* Proactive, reliable, and adaptable to changing priorities
* Keen to progress in an
administration career within the legal sector
