Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality or hotel environments, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and comfortable for all guests.
Duties
* Work closely with the Head Housekeeper to ensure all rooms are cleaned to the required standard and complete room checks after cleaning.
* Perform cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness according to the cleaning schedule.
* Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to maintain an appealing environment.
* Cover for the Head Housekeeper when off, including opening shifts and completing all task sheets for the housekeeping team.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
* Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition, ensuring they are stocked as needed.
* Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a housekeeping role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
* Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and procedures.
* Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout the shift.
