Electrical Shift Engineer – Pharmaceutical Facility
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £60,000+ OTE (including shift pattern and overtime premiums)
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (7 AM – 7 PM)

What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimising the electrical infrastructure of a modern pharmaceutical facility.
Key Responsibilities:

Planned & Reactive Maintenance – Carry out electrical maintenance across the site to keep equipment running efficiently.

Fault Finding & Repairs – Diagnose and repair electrical faults promptly to minimise downtime.
*
Compliance & Safety – Ensure all work is completed in line with safety regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
*
Critical Systems Maintenance – Maintain key infrastructure, including power distribution, control panels, lighting, motors, and emergency systems.

Collaboration – Work alongside mechanical engineers and other technical teams to support smooth site operations.

What We’re Looking For
*
Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent)
*
Experience in a regulated or technical environment (pharma, biotech, manufacturing, FMCG, etc.)
*
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and maintenance skills
*
Understanding of electrical safety and GMP compliance
*
Team-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused mindset
