Robert Half are recruiting a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis with a large organisation based in West Wiltshire. This role would suit a newly qualified Accountant seeking their first move into industry.
The role
The Financial Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller to manage all financial reporting and tax related matters. The role will involve but not be limited to:
1. Statutory reporting under IFRS and UKGAAP.
2. Liaising with auditors and external advisers.
3. Ensure compliance with tax legislation.
4. Go to person for tax related queries including VAT, PAYE and expense allowances.
5. Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.
6. Processing corporation tax.
7. Group reporting and consolidating reports.
Profile
This role would suit someone with the following skills and attributes:
8. ACA/ACCA newly qualified, ideally seeking a first or second move from practice.
9. Strong technical reporting knowledge (IFRS and UK GAAP) and understanding of VAT/Tax.
10. Excellent communication skills.
Package
11. £50,000- £55,000 base salary.
