Peripatetic Piano Tutor
Lesson prices are currently set as follows:
* 20-minute individual: £15.50 per lesson (when booking 10 lessons)
* 30-minute individual: £22.00 per lesson (when booking 10 lessons)
Are you a passionate and skilled piano teacher committed to nurturing young musical talents? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Peripatetic Piano Teacher to join our vibrant school community. You will have the opportunity to inspire and guide students on their musical journey. Currently, we have 5 hours per week allocated for teaching, with plans to expand student enrollment.
We will facilitate student placements and provide a piano and suitable room for lessons. You will invoice parents or carers directly for payment at the rates specified above.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality piano instruction to students of various ages and skill levels.
* Develop engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs.
* Foster a love for music and piano through creative teaching methods.
* Prepare students for performance exams and competitions when appropriate.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Maintain accurate records of attendance and achievements.
* Collaborate with other music educators and school staff to support the music program.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in teaching piano.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, enthusiasm, and passion for teaching.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential.
* Flexibility to accommodate varying student schedules.
