SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Lancing Pay: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-time, Long-term Do you believe every child deserves to feel valued and supported in their educational journey? GSL Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs at an inclusive primary school in Lancing. The Role You'll work with primary children who may need extra support with: Communication and social interaction Academic skills and learning differences Emotional regulation and confidence building Physical or sensory needs Your focus will be on fostering independence, celebrating achievements, and ensuring every child can participate fully in primary school life. You'll Be: Providing targeted support across the primary curriculum Helping children develop social skills and friendships Adapting activities and resources for individual needs Supporting playground and lunchtime inclusion Collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialists We're Looking For: Experience working with primary children with diverse needs A warm, positive and adaptable approach Someone who celebrates small victories and progress Strong teamwork and communication abilities An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Experience with reading interventions, fine motor support, or behaviour strategies are a bonus—but not essential.
