We have an exciting opportunity in Redcar and Cleveland to manage our MACH service.
The MACH is the front door to children's social care and early help, and where we're commited to offering the right service at the right time to our children and their families. As we approach the social work reforms, it is a time to lead development and change.
The MACH benefits from being co-located with Police, Health, Education, Domestic Abuse expertise and Early Help practitioners, and has virtual commitment from partners across the borough. You will manage a team of 6 social workers and the MACH officer lead, an experienced permanent team. We want to appoint someone who can show skill in managing the service informed by performance, but more importantly can model our passion for making relationships, kindness, and care.
The MACH team manager is a dynamic post, responsible for the oversight of the social work team but also for leading multi-agency and partnership working. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for relationships, and working with whole families to keep children at home. The MACH has gone from strength to success since 2022, and we're hoping to appoint someone who can continue our commitment to making a difference to children in Redcar and Cleveland.
To apply for this post, we are looking for someone with extensive social work experience with evidence of supporting or managing staff.
