Moxy Belfast City is right in the middle of the action – and now we’re looking for an Operations Manager who can keep the energy high, the service sharp, and the guest experience unforgettable.


Your Mission:

To be the driving force behind the hotel’s day-to-day operations. You’ll support the General Manager by making sure every area of the hotel runs smoothly, guests are delighted, standards stay sky-high, and the Moxy vibe is felt in every corner of the building.


What You’ll Be Doing:

* Lead the show – Maintain a strong presence across the hotel, connecting with guests, supporting the crew, and keeping service fun, friendly and flawless.
* Drive performance – Help maximise revenue and profitability by spotting opportunities, managing costs, and supporting commercial decisions.
* Own the operations – Oversee housekeeping, food & beverage, front of house, and public areas to ensure standards, cleanliness and atmosphere are consistently top-tier.
* Champion service excellence – Make every guest interaction memorable, manage feedback, resolve issues with flair, and elevate the guest journey.
* Support your teams – Ensure staffing levels are right, training is up-to-date, morale is high, and everyone is working in sync.
* Keep things safe & compliant – Act as a Fire Marshal, ensure licensing regulations are met, complete operational checks, and uphold all health & safety standards.
* Collaborate & communicate – Work closely with department heads, contractors and suppliers while keeping the GM updated on daily operations and priorities.
* Be the problem-solver – From security and maintenance to checklists and procedures, you’re the person who sees what needs to be done and gets it sorted.
