Job Title: Assessor/Trainer in Early Years
Inspire and support the next generation by training and assessing apprentices and FE students both in college and on the job—while building strong, dynamic partnerships with employers to champion Early Years and Teaching Assistant apprenticeships!
About the Role:
Assess and support learners in achieving their agreed qualifications, guiding them through to successful completion of their End Point Assessments or relevant certifications.
Deliver high-quality training and conduct assessments across all components of the apprenticeship or qualification framework, ensuring standards are consistently met.
Monitor learner progress through regular observations, reviews, and target setting, driving timely and successful completions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in line with internal and external quality assurance requirements.
Engage in curriculum activities, including regular programme meetings, briefings, and standardisation sessions to ensure consistency and compliance.
Complete and manage awarding body documentation, ensuring all procedures are followed and quality standards are maintained.
Provide timely learner reviews and implement clear, evidence-based support and intervention strategies as needed.
Build strong professional relationships with employers and clients, actively contributing to the achievement of learner recruitment and retention targets.

Essential Qualifications:
Education to Level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent such as BA Early Years, BA Primary Education, EYPS etc
Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent
Assessor/Verifier Awards.
Essential Experience:
Proven experience delivering training and assessments in both workplace and educational settings
Extensive vocational expertise in Early Years
Strong experience engaging with customers in public-facing roles
