About the Role
As Engineering Estimator, you'll be translating detailed drawings into accurate costs and developing efficient manufacturing routes. Reporting to the Operations Manager, key responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing drawings and specs for CNC turned and milled components.
* Building accurate cost estimates across materials, machining and subcontract processes.
* Creating clear, practical routings with defined operations and inspection stages.
* Working with production and programming to ensure manufacturability and efficiency.
* Supporting the commercial team with technical input, risks and cost assumptions.
About You
* Experienced in CNC estimating and process planning (turning and milling).
* Confident interpreting complex drawings, tolerances and finishes.
* Strong understanding of materials and regulated industry standards.
* Commercially aware with a sharp eye for cost and margin.
* Organised, detail-focused and collaborative in approach.
