Teaching Assistant – Longbenton
Location: Longbenton
Pay: £90 to £110 per day

Love being the steady, calming presence in the classroom? Longbenton’s local schools are looking for brilliant TAs who bring patience, warmth, and a good sense of humour to the day.
You’ll be supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4, helping them stay confident, focused, and ready to learn. If you’ve worked with SEND needs, even better, but a positive attitude and a genuine knack for building trust go a long way.
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting learning in small groups and 1:1
• Helping pupils follow routines and stay engaged
• Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff
• Bringing a warm, reliable presence to busy classrooms
What you’ll need:
• Experience with young people, ideally in schools
• A calm, encouraging approach
• DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
