The Role
You will be the lead family lawyer in Cambridge, responsible for launching and growing the office while continuing to run a high-quality private family caseload.
* Lead the opening and day-to-day running of the Cambridge office
* Handle a strong mix of private family work, including financial remedy, children matters and complex or high-value disputes
* Build and develop your own practice, supported by established referral streams and central marketing
* Work closely with partners and senior colleagues across the wider firm on sensitive and contested matters
* Develop relationships with local referrers and professional contacts to embed the firm in the Cambridge market
* Recruit, mentor and develop future team members as the office grows
* Play a visible role in the wider strategy of a growing, multi-office family practice
About You
* You are a senior family lawyer ready for a leadership role and motivated by the chance to build something with long-term impact.
* Strong private family law experience, with exposure to complex finances and or children work
* Confident with business development and raising your profile locally
* Collaborative and commercially minded
* Natural leader with an interest in mentoring and team building
* Ambitious, with partnership firmly in your sights
