Are you an Estimator with a background in construction and looking for a role where you will work alongside two other estimators on painting and decorating projects nationwide? This company offers hybrid working, a £5,000 car allowance and a mix of office and site visits where no two days are the same.
With 50 years of experience as a painter and decorating contractor, this growing company covers every industry for their perfect finishing touches. Current projects include airports and prisons across the UK, and its proven record has seen growth in its business, demanding an Estimator to help forecast each new project.
This varied and autonomous role will be split between the office, home, and site visits: forecasting project costs, analysing resources, and providing accurate financial and material estimates to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. You will support and mentor Junior Estimators and report to the Commercial Director.
This role would suit someone with estimating experience from the construction or painting and decorating industry looking to join a well-established family‑run company.
The Role
* Produce estimates and pricing based on drawings and specific construction projects
* Support Junior Estimators and work closely with Senior Estimators
* Report to the Commercial Director
* Hybrid working after probation completion

* Experience in the construction or painting and decorating industry
* Willing to communicate to Carlisle once a week and conduct site visits mainly in the Northwest
