Senior Landscape Architect An award-winning, design-led landscape architecture and masterplanning practice is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join its growing team. Renowned for its collaborative, people-focused ethos, the practice delivers high-quality, sustainable design across a broad range of sectors, including residential, mixed-use, strategic land, and infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and skilled designer to lead complex projects, mentor junior team members, and play a key role in shaping the studio’s evolving portfolio. The role offers significant responsibility and autonomy across all project stages — from early concept development to technical delivery — with the opportunity to contribute strategically to both design and practice development. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and delivery of large-scale, multidisciplinary landscape projects. Manage client and stakeholder relationships, including leading meetings and presentations. Oversee project programmes, resourcing, and financial tracking in collaboration with directors. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level team members. Coordinate with internal and external teams, including architects, engineers, and planning consultants. Review and ensure the quality of design outputs, including masterplans, planning submissions, technical packages, and specifications. Support the development of best practice, innovation, and sustainability within the design process. Ideal Candidate: Degree in Landscape Architecture and fully qualified CMLI. Significant UK-based consultancy experience, ideally including team leadership or project management roles. Strong design sensibility with excellent technical knowledge and a keen understanding of UK planning and construction processes. Proficient in design and documentation tools (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp; Revit and GIS advantageous). Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and advocate for design quality. Passionate about place-making, sustainability, and delivering meaningful public realm projects. Additional Information: Flexible working options across multiple UK studios, including hybrid arrangements. Supportive, inclusive studio environment with structured career development and CPD. Opportunities to contribute to strategic growth, design reviews, and thought leadership within the practice.
