We're looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Cambridgeshire County Council team based in Huntingdon.
Location: New Shire Hall, Emery Crescent, Enterprise Crescent, Huntingdon, PE28 4YE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm with one hour for lunch

Kier Places Workplace Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic Project Coordinator to support our Facilities Management team at Cambridgeshire County Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative team where your organisational skills and attention to detail will make a real difference. As a mobile role, you'll work across various contract sites, coordinating project activities and ensuring the smooth delivery of maintenance, repairs, and project work to the highest standards.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Coordinator, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, supporting them in delivering exceptional service to our client. Your day to day will include:
* Providing administrative and coordination support to Contract and Project Managers, maintaining accurate project records and documentation
* Coordinating contractor visits, ensuring all health and safety documentation is complete and compliant before work begins
* Preparing clear reports and analysing project data to support performance monitoring and decision-making
* Managing purchase orders and supporting financial administration in line with company governance processes
* Acting as a key point of contact for project-related queries, facilitating effective communication between teams, contractors, and clients
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Coordinator is great for you if:
* You have proven experience in a project coordination role, ideally within facilities management or construction environments
* You're highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
* You're confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* You have excellent communication skills and enjoy building positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders
* You're detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance
