Job Description
3. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
4. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
5. Manage month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
6. Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
8. Collaborate with different departments to optimise financial performance.
9. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors.
10. Support the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification or working towards one (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
12. Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
13. Experience in the Life Science industry or a similar field is advantageous.
14. Proficiency in financial systems and relevant software.
15. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
16. Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.
