The successful Senior Ecologist will work closely alongside the head of Ecology, assisting Habitat Classification surveys and supporting junior members of staff.

Senior Ecologist Position Overview
* Undertaking UK Habitat Classification Surveys, (licenced) protected species surveys
* Building tenders and creating complex fee quotations at speed
* Producing complex technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, Habitat Management Plans, BREEAM reports, HRAs and EcIAs)
* Managing medium to large sized projects with the ability to track financial progress
* Line management of junior ecologists
* Logistical and legislative problem solving
Senior Ecologist Position Requirements
* 3 years+ industry experience
* Minimum of 1 protected species licence (preferred)
* Hold a full UK driving license
* Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and the understanding of how to apply them correctly
* Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (ideally Associate), is preferred
Senior Ecologist Position Remuneration
* Competitive salary, ranging between £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
* 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays and the opportunity to buy more
* Hybrid working, or fully remote
