Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary
* Monitor KPIs and provide insights to support operational improvements
* Manage VAT and other statutory reporting
* Analyse product margins, distribution costs, and overheads
* Support pricing decisions and profitability analysis
* Track inventory valuation and oversee stock-related processes
* Work closely with commercial teams to optimise working capital and stock levels
* Ensure adherence to financial controls and company policies
* Support internal and external audits and maintain regulatory compliance
* Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insights
* Assist with strategic and operational improvement projects
Requirements
* Fully qualified (CIMA or ACCA)
* Line management experience
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
* Experience with ERP systems and BI tools
* Background in a product-based business (retail, manufacturing, distribution, etc.)
* Experience working in a multicurrency environment
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
