About the Client

Roles/Responsibilities
* Manage mechanical design projects ranging from £100,000 to £10 million.
* Lead full-cycle design efforts from initial brief to final documentation.
* Collaborate with Contract Management, Estimating, and CAD/BIM teams.
* Design systems including domestic services, HVAC, ventilation, public health, and comfort cooling.
* Ensure regulatory compliance, particularly HTM standards.
* Conduct site surveys, meet with clients and consultants, and present technical designs.
* Support project delivery through strong documentation and team coordination.
Qualifications
* Minimum 10 years of experience in Mechanical Design (Building Services).
* HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services Engineering.
* Proficient in building services design software.
* Knowledge of CAD/BIM, Revit, and estimating tools (e.g., MS Project, Asta Powerproject).
* Strong grasp of BMS and control systems.
* Excellent communication, time management, and presentation skills.
* Able to commute daily to Croydon, Surrey (within 45–60 minutes preferred).
