Security Officer (Security Cleared)
We are looking for a professional, reliable and people-focused Security Officer to join a secure site environment.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, organised and professional workplace while providing a high standard of support to staff, visitors and contractors. You will play an important part in protecting people, property and the wider site, ensuring procedures are followed and any issues are handled calmly and effectively.
Previous security experience is beneficial, but not essential. Full training and support can be provided for someone who is motivated, professional and keen to develop within the security industry.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor site access and support the safe movement of staff, visitors and contractorsCarry out internal and external security patrolsMonitor alarms, CCTV and other security systems where requiredIssue visitor and contractor passes in line with site proceduresSupport with key management, locking and unlocking dutiesMaintain accurate security logs, reports and handover notesRespond to incidents, hazards, faults and emergency situationsProvide clear guidance and support to staff and visitorsHelp maintain a safe, secure and professional site environmentDeliver a high standard of customer service at all timesCandidate Requirements
Professional, reliable and well-presentedStrong communication skills, both written and verbalCustomer-focused with a calm and polite approachAble to follow procedures and work responsiblyGood attention to detail and strong awareness of surroundingsComfortable working shifts, including days, nights and weekendsFull UK driving licenceRight to work in the UKMinimum 5-year checkable historyAn SIA Licence would be beneficial, but training and ongoing support can be provided.
