About the Role

As Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the production of monthly management accounts for both Bailey Caravans and PRIMA Leisure. This successful applicant will be not only responsible for delivering accurate and well-presented information in a timely manner but have the autonomy to shape and improve processes as they see fit, with support from the Management Accounting team.

You will be comfortable working within a team structure and willing to develop with the role in order to support the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Production of weekly and ad hoc reporting as required,
* Complete daily bank reconciliations,
* Responsible for administering all company credit cards,
* Conduct monthly control account reconciliations,
* Carry out regular overhead analysis,
* Assist the rest of the team with the production of Management Accounts,
* Partial involvement in the accounts payable function as and when required, this may involve processing and invoice matching.

Your Qualifications & Experience

* Strong Excel skills
* Newly Qualified AAT desirable but not essential
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* High level of attention to detail
* Strong organisation skills
* Confident, with good communication skills
* Initiative to suggest and implement improvements to current processes, with support from Group Accountant.

About the Department

Our Finance team plays a vital role in keeping the business running smoothly, managing everything from day-to-day transactions to long-term financial planning.

Responsible for overseeing all financial aspects, from budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, the team ensures accuracy, compliance, and transparency across the organisation. With a focus on efficiency and attention to detail, they provide the insight and support needed to drive confident decision-making and sustainable growth.
