As a band 6 clinical lead, you would be expected to work effectively as a senior member of the multi-disciplinary team, to act up in the absence of the ward manager, to participate in clinical supervision and provide clinical leadership in the development of the recovery service for people with complex health needs
Main duties of the job
To provide managerial supervision to staff and to act as a role model to junior staff. To effectively manage the ward in duties such as safe staffing levels, liaise with all health care professions, speak to family members, ensure effective communication is maintained between all agencies. assist in preparation of duty rotas and delegate ward tasks top colleagues.

Essential Qualifications & Knowledge
* Registered Nurse (Part 1) - Active NMC Registration
* Bachelor degree in relevant health related subject (or equivalent experience)
* Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults/Children including the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
* Recognised management qualification
* Understanding of wider nursing and health care related agenda
* Relevant clinical experience
* Experience of working in a multi-professional environment
* Experience of shift leadership
* Experience of working with preregistration nursing / midwifery students
* Experience of formal /informal teaching and of mentoring preregistration nursing or midwifery students.
* Relevant experience within specialty and able to demonstrate sound knowledge of relevant specialty

* Previous experience of leadership and management
