Class Teacher at St Peter’s C. of E Primary School, Hindley (covering maternity leave).
We are seeking an exceptional Class Teacher to join our team at St Peter’s C. of E Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils and contribute to the continued success of our school.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity
* Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils, using effective differentiation strategies
* Make accurate and productive use of assessment, providing regular feedback to pupils
* Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
* Contribute to the design and provision of an engaging curriculum within the relevant subject area(s)
* Participate in the wider life and ethos of the school, developing effective professional relationships
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
* Proven experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
* Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Desirable Qualities
* Experience working in a primary school setting
* Ability to lead extra-curricular activities or clubs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Collaborative approach and willingness to work as part of a team
