Applications are invited for the post of Trust Doctor in Eldercare at Royal Cornwall Hospital.
A good level of postgraduate NHS work experience would be an advantage.
Applicants must have at least 12 months of experience working within a medicine-related specialty, current ALS (or equivalent), and GMC registration with a license to practice.
The experience should be equivalent to a training post. The successful candidate will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the substantive posts within the Trust.
Key Accountabilities
1. Assessment and management of in-patients on Care of the Elderly wards.
2. Attend multi-disciplinary ward meetings.
3. Attend outpatient clinics and assist in inpatient management.
4. Fulfill duties according to the weekly timetable, including out-of-hours responsibilities.
5. Participate in Clinical Audit.
6. Participate in departmental Education and Training sessions.
