This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the workplace, ensuring visitors, contractors and building occupants receive a professional and efficient service. The successful candidate will help coordinate site activities, support facilities management functions and maintain high standards across the workplace environment.
Working closely with facilities teams, contractors and site stakeholders, the Workspace Support role plays an important part in ensuring site operations run smoothly while maintaining workplace standards, health and safety requirements and effective communication across all service lines.
The position requires a proactive and professional individual who can support workplace operations, assist with facilities management activities and help maintain a positive experience for all building occupants and visitors. The Workspace Support role is central to ensuring the workplace remains organised, compliant and efficient on a daily basis.

Meet and greet visitors attending the site, including contractors.Act as a professional ambassador for the customer and EMCOR UK.Undertake site inductions for new contractors attending site.Schedule, oversee and escort external contractors where required in line with customer procedures.Liaise with the helpdesk and engineers to arrange planned preventative maintenance activities without impacting site operations.Provide guidance and assistance, including relevant health and safety information.Issue visitor passes where there is no onsite security function.Act as a point of contact for the Facilities Coordinator and Sky Spaces Regional Facilities Manager, ensuring they are kept informed of site issues and progress towards resolution.Maintain communication with all service lines to support seamless service delivery for building occupants.Share knowledge across the team to support ongoing communication and learning.Liaise closely with FM service teams to ensure consistency standards and a professional image are maintained throughout designated areas.Coordinate and collate management information as required.Assist with queries in person, by email and by telephone in a professional manner.The Workspace Support role involves working with a range of stakeholders across the site, supporting communication between service lines and helping to ensure all workplace activities are delivered efficiently and professionally.
About you
o be considered for this Workspace Support position, you should have:
SIA licence holder status.Knowledge and experience of facilities management in practice and in high-end, complex environments.Experience in media and broadcast environments advantageous.Good knowledge of building operations and associated guidelines, including health and safety (IOSH or NEBOSH qualification desirable).Excellent organisational and people skills.The ability to monitor and maintain high standards of excellence in areas of quality, safety, operational performance and customer service.Competence in the use of IT applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.You will be a professional communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships across facilities teams, contractors and site stakeholders.
