Rates of Pay:
* Basic: £15.07 per hour
Day to Day Duties:
* Your duties as a 7.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to:
* RDC or Brewery Deliveries no handball (working on curtain-side)
* up to 100 parcel both delivery and collections
* Operate and drive various 7.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* will require them using their own devices as a scanner by downloading an app so their phone needs to have NFC (Apple/Google Pay) feature.
* They are required to scan their own parcels and load/unload themself
* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:
* Hold a valid UK Category C1 Licence
* Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving C1 vehicles
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
* Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
* Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
* Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
* Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
* Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
Training:
* Training received on the first day and support throughout
