Join Our Team as a Regional Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager!
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of manufacturing? As the Regional CI Manager, you will play a pivotal role in deploying our Lean Continuous Improvement strategy, enhancing Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety (QCDS) across our operations. Reporting to the Global CI Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving excellence in our mission-critical equipment and components, supporting cleaner energy solutions.
Your Mission:
In this dynamic role, you will:
* Provide training, expertise, and direction for improvement activities across assigned territories.
* Collaborate closely with the Global Operations Leadership Team and cross-functional partners to identify and implement cost-effective operational solutions.
* Lead the charge in fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
What You’ll Bring:
We’re looking for a passionate leader with:
* A Bachelor’s or preferably a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business Administration.
* Six Sigma Black Belt certification and/or Lean certification (SME/AME/ASQ/Shingo Prizes are a plus).
* 7+ years of progressive experience in Lean Transformation within a high-performing manufacturing environment.
* A proven track record of building a culture, vision, and strategy for Continuous Improvement.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
What You’ll Do:
Your responsibilities will include:
* Strategy Deployment: Lead the execution of CI strategies and roadmaps, focusing on enhancing processes and systems to improve Gross Margin.
* Influential Leadership: Provide CI training and coaching to frontline leaders, fostering internal capability and a culture of continuous improvement.
* Reporting and Data Analysis: Maintain KPI dashboards and visual management systems to support data-driven decision-making.
Working Conditions:
This role requires regular visits to our sites in Glasgow and Ellesmere Port, with up to 30% travel both domestically and internationally. Your presence will be crucial in driving our CI initiatives forward!
