We are a high‑performing sixth form college seeking a Teacher of Computer Science and IT to join our forward‑thinking department. This role offers the opportunity to focus on subject teaching within a clear, well‑organised college structure.
About the role
1. Teaching Computer Science and IT to motivated post‑16 students
2. A Level Computer Science (AQA) and IT qualifications including AAQ IT Data Analytics
3. A curriculum emphasis on computational thinking, programming, networking and data
4. Contribution to enrichment opportunities, including a timetabled Cyber EPQ
How the role is structured
5. No tutor group attached to this role
6. No routine lunch or break duties
7. Pastoral support led primarily by progress tutors
8. Student support sessions are timetabled, rather than ad‑hoc
9. Planning, assessment and delivery supported through shared resources and collaboration
