Overview
Consultant Applied Psychologist (8C) to work with Change Grow Live (CGL), delivering drug and alcohol services in Stockton. Fixed-term contract for 6 months, based in Stockton, 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Review the current psychology provision within the wider context to meet the psychological needs of service users, with clear recommendations.
* Provide direct service delivery as required.
* Work in tandem with the TEWV Stockton hub team.
* Provide leadership and supervision to the psychological professions.
* Provide expert psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other staff, contributing to clients' diagnoses, formulations and intervention plans.
Qualifications and experience
* Post-graduate training (doctoral level equivalent) in clinical/counselling/forensic psychology (or equivalent prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS.
* HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
* Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice.
* Training in clinical supervision and supervising doctoral trainees.
* Training in care coordination.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
