Senior Data Engineer
Location: Manchester (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + 10% bonus

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and optimise MSSQL Server and Snowflake environments.
* Design and implement scalable database architectures and storage solutions.
* Build and maintain ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation.
* Implement robust backup, recovery, and security strategies.
* Support CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align data solutions with business needs.
* Champion best practices in database administration and cloud data platforms.
Skills & Experience
* 5+ years in Data Engineering or Database Administration.
* Strong expertise in MSSQL Server and Snowflake.
* Proven experience in query optimisation, indexing, and performance tuning.
* Hands-on experience with ETL tools (DBT, Fivetran, Census; Alteryx desirable).
* Familiarity with CI/CD processes and automation.
* Knowledge of Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Logic Apps (desirable).
* SnowPro certification and experience with Terraform or PySpark (advantageous).
