Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Breakfast Chef located in Southampton. The Breakfast Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste. Day-to-day tasks include menu planning, managing kitchen inventory, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, and collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. The Breakfast Chef will also oversee portion control, comply with health and safety regulations, and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
* Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking breakfast dishes
* Knowledge of kitchen inventory management and portion control
* Strong understanding of hygiene and health and safety regulations
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively
* Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications preferred
* Previous experience in high-end hotels or restaurants is a plus
* Passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service
