Business Support Officer (Minute Taking) needed in Barnsley, £13.26ph

The role will involve handling information related to the exploitation and abuse of children, violence, and wider criminal behaviour.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide efficient and confidential business support to front-line and statutory services.
2. Handle telephone and face-to-face enquiries, offering advice, guidance, signposting, and support in line with legislation, policies, and procedures.
3. Respond to correspondence, managing incoming and outgoing information.
4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, employees, and the public, maintaining effective communication links.
5. Support statutory meetings by accurately recording decisions using mobile IT devices and e-forms.
6. Organise and coordinate meetings, diaries, and appointments, ensuring suitable venues and schedules.
7. Undertake project work and research, ensuring high-quality information and timely completion.
8. Analyse data and produce reports for various audiences, including senior managers and the public.
9. Perform administrative duties while managing interruptions and customer queries.
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
