Leisure Duty Manager
Are you a Team Leader or Duty Manager looking for an new exciting opportunity to be part of a fantastic leisure centre in Epping? We're recruiting Duty Managers to play a key role in delivering outstanding customer experiences and ensuring the safe, efficient running of a busy and exciting Leisure centre.
As Duty Manager, you will:
* Oversee the day-to-day operation of the leisure centre, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.
* Lead and manage on-duty staff, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth running of activities.
* Manage daily site teams, ensuring the centre is running smoothly and safely at all time.
* Take the lead during serious incidents and respond effectively to emergencies.
* Manage activity preparation, including set up, breakdown, and maintaining site presentation.
* Handle customer feedback and escalate issues where needed.
* Support recruitment, training, and supervision of recreational assistants and front-line staff.
* Be responsible for the opening, closing and key holding for the site.
* Lead and manage rota's for front line staff
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Has a customer-focused mindset and strong leadership skills.
* Holds an NPLQ/First Aid at Work qualification and a Pool Plant Operators Certificate
* Is confident in using Microsoft Office tools.
* Has experience in busy leisure facilties, gyms or health clubs
* Can remain calm under pressure and lead effectively in challenging situations.
