Adults Social Worker - Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
Hampshire CC are looking for a social worker to join the Adults MASH team. This role requires you to be in the office 1 days a week in Fareham until March and then will move to Havant. (A 4 week training programme will be required where you are expected to be in the office 5 days a week)
Provide supervision and practice leadership, in line with professional accountability
Provide supervision and support for Senior Case workers
Give practice advice to both Case workers and Senior Case workers on complex cases
Make professional decisions on cases and make recommendations to team managers about risk
Triage safeguarding referrals including emergency services referrals and make decisions in relation to these
Triage and respond to Domestic abuse referrals. Prepare for and attend HRDA and MARAC meetings to support multi agency decision making and interventionRespond to phone and online queries
Answer phones and deal with customer queries in line with strengths-based practice
Triage safeguarding telephone and online referrals across all AHC client groups
Identify risk and escalate safeguarding concerns as necessary
Write concise reports on resident's files to effectively communicate to front line staff such as Social Workers
Deal with online forms
Support Senior Case Workers and Case Workers with advice on Safeguarding concerns, S42 criteria and progression to enquiry
Contact or Arrange appointments for clients to have safeguarding online assessments as part of case holding and completion of safeguarding enquiry
Carry out strength-based wellbeing assessments to identify client's level of needs and support available
Hold Safeguarding Cases that are managed in MASH to complete safeguarding enquiry (Up to 28 days, in most cases)
Make calls to consult and advise clients
Making Safeguarding Personal - Develop Safeguarding plans which fully involve clients and support them to maintain safety and wellbeing
Notify service users and referrers of the outcomes of referrals and S42 enquiries
Maintain client records in AIS in line with legal and departmental process requirements
Record Compliments and complaints as per HCC policies
Be available to the customer at the correct shift times, unless agreed otherwise.
Working Arrangements
Office Base at Fareham Parkway Office - 1 day a week
Hybrid working, from home and office. Currently one day per week in office, plus additional days as required for team meetings etc.Benefits:
