Park Recruit are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and progressive manufacturing company based in Mid Ulster, who are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Production, this newly created role will be responsible for planning and scheduling production activities to maximise manufacturing efficiency, support continuous improvement, and ensure cost-effective operations. Key Responsibilities Service Delivery Develop, manage, and maintain the Master Production Schedule. Collaborate with key departments and stakeholders to ensure production schedules are achieved and proactively address potential issues. Attend production meetings and provide updates on capacity, schedules, and operational considerations. Report regularly to the Head of Production on progress and risks. Utilise Microsoft Excel effectively. Work independently and use initiative. Liaise with sales to plan build sequences. Prepare production lists for the shop floor. Maintain a database of machine production times. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles. Qualifications & Experience Experience planning complex production schedules - essential. Background in a manufacturing environment - essential. Experience advising stakeholders on operational matters. Skills and Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem-solving ability. Good organisational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of production scheduling.
