Job Title: Area Registered Manager
Location: York / Scarborough & Ryedale (based between or in one of these locations)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
About Us:
We have two Home Instead offices serving York and Scarborough & Ryedale. We’re looking for an experienced Area Registered Manager to oversee the registration and operational management across both locations, with a strong focus on driving growth, especially in Scarborough.
Role Overview:
Manage and oversee registration and compliance for both offices
Lead and support teams in York and Scarborough & Ryedale
Build and optimise business growth, with a focus on expanding Scarborough’s client base
Step in to manage on-call duties, including safeguarding issues and emergency management as required
Collaborate with deputies, care quality coordinators, recruiters, finance, and marketing teams
Current Team Structure:
York Office: 4000 care hours/month, 1 Deputy Care Manager, 2 Care Quality Coordinators
Scarborough Office: 600 care hours/month, 1 Deputy Care Manager, 1 Care Quality Coordinator
Shared support: Recruiter, Finance Admin, Office Coordinator (with marketing responsibilities)
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager in domiciliary care
Strong knowledge of care registration and compliance
Demonstrated success in business growth and team leadership
Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations effectively
Benefits:

Mileage paid at 45p per mile for travel between offices and client visits
