Conveyancing Assistant – Selby I’m working with a highly respected regional law firm that’s looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy Residential Property team in Selby. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 12 months of hands-on conveyancing experience who’s keen to develop their legal career within a supportive, progressive and well-established firm. You’ll work closely with a team of skilled conveyancers and solicitors, providing key support on a high-volume caseload of residential sales and purchases, from file opening right through to completion. The Role: This is a client-facing position where you’ll handle a broad range of administrative and case management responsibilities. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring matters progress efficiently, keeping clients and third parties informed and maintaining files in accordance with firm procedures. Key responsibilities include: Opening new files and maintaining case management systems Preparing legal documents, including sale contracts and initial correspondence Ordering searches and assisting with client reports Supporting exchanges, completions and post-completion processes Liaising with clients, estate agents and solicitors via phone and email Managing incoming and outgoing post, billing, filing and archiving About You: We’re looking for someone who brings both experience and enthusiasm to the role.
