In this role, you'll be responsible for growing and managing a panel of high-performing brokers across Scotland and the North of England, identifying new business opportunities, and using data to target the right partners at the right time. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded relationship builder who thrives on driving business through insight, strategic thinking, and genuine collaboration. Description Broker Development: Identify, engage, and onboard high-potential intermediaries using data to guide your prospecting and prioritisation. Panel Growth: Build strong, lasting relationships with your broker network, driving consistent application volumes and revenue growth. Strategic Sales: Use a data-led approach to refine your sales tactics, test new strategies, and focus your activity where it will make the biggest impact. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams - including underwriting, marketing, and operations - to support your brokers and resolve queries quickly. Market Feedback: Capture and share insights from brokers to help shape product development and identify untapped market opportunities. Professional Representation: Attend industry events and broker meetings, acting as a trusted and knowledgeable representative of our client. Regulatory Integrity: Ensure all activities align with Consumer Duty and regulatory best practice.Profile A successful Key Account Manager should have: Demonstrable success in a mortgage business development or account management role, ideally within a lender or intermediary-focused environment. Strong existing broker relationships and an excellent understanding of the UK mortgage market. Highly analytical with the ability to use data to inform your strategy and measure success.
