Looking for a temporary to permanent Customer Service/Sales Order processing job?e and work with a new team in a very busy manufacturing business in Scunthorpe!
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales & Administration Coordinator to support our internal teams and contribute to an exceptional customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys taking ownership of tasks, and is confident inmunicating with both customers and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist the sales and administration team with day‑to‑day operational duties.
2. Process and revise customer sales orders accurately.
3. Prepare, update, and email sales quotations to customers.
4. Handle customer enquiries via phone and email.
5. Deliver high‑quality customer service at all times.
6. Prepare and maintain Excel-based reports for carriers and customers.
7. Liaise with carriers to obtain proof of delivery and resolve non‑delivery issues.
8. Address and resolve sales invoice queries efficiently.
9. Convert orders into invoices within the ERP system.
10. Manage general customer correspondence and iing inbox enquiries.
11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM/ERP records
What we are looking for :-
12. Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
13. Confident user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
14. Previous experience with ERP systems is an advantage (not essential).
15. Strong organisational skills and effectivemunication abilities.
16. Proven background in delivering excellent customer service.
17. Ability to prioritise, manage time effectively, and work independently.
