We are actively seeking to appoint an individual with a commitment to teaching high-quality human anatomy and physiology at various levels on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
The School of Health Sciences is part of a highly successful and vibrant faculty. Frequently commended for our partnership working across the sector, the school delivers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses leading to registration in nursing, midwifery, and allied healthcare professions. The University has invested over £3 million in the development of state-of-the-art simulation centres, further enhancing our record of teaching innovation.
We welcome applications from individuals with extensive knowledge and experience in teaching anatomy and physiology. Candidates should also have experience teaching in a higher education or related environment and be able to demonstrate their ability to enhance student learning.

As a lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and providing an excellent student experience in various formats, where diversity, inclusivity, and equality are prioritized. There are also opportunities to participate in research and enterprise activities. Applicants without previous teaching experience will be considered for the Lecturer position.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to complete a teaching qualification (PGCHE), progress through our GOLD framework to achieve HEA senior fellowship, and contribute to research and knowledge exchange activities.
