Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
* perform risk assessment and deliver planned care to all assigned patients with minimum supervision
* assist in procedures such as insertion of Central Venous Catheter (CVC), A/Line, chest drain, wound and stoma management according to hospital guidelines
* provide basic hygiene care and monitor hemodynamics including invasive (CVC and arterial line) monitoring
* manage all assigned patients including ventilated patients
* monitor I/V fluids and fluid management
* ensure timely documentation as per defined protocols and standards.
Requirements
You should have:
* an Intermediate in any discipline along with Matric in Science (Pre-Medical) background
* preferably at least one year of related experience in a reputable health care organization and Diploma in Critical Care Technician or Nursing Technician with the reputable hospital (Preferred)
* completed Nursing Technician training course at AKUH or any other reputable institution
* certification in Basic Life Support and Intravenous Cannulation
* good communication skills and ability to handle work pressure
* willingness to work in shift duties.
