Head of Art
Salary: Main Scale / Upper Scale + TLR 2B £5,868
Hours: Full Time / 0.8 FTE Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible

Are you an outstanding teacher of art and photography? We are looking for someone to lead our enthusiastic, committed and forward-thinking team. The job has arisen due to the retirement of our long serving Head of art. We need an individual with outstanding teaching qualities who is committed to helping young people achieve. You will be teaching KS3 and KS4 art alongside a very experienced Art teacher. KS4 photography experience would also be beneficial.
Strong team-work skills, dedication and the desire to contribute fully to the successful department are essential. This provides an opportunity to develop our art curriculum bringing your vision and experience. You should have an ambitious outlook and a firm commitment to collaborative working within a supportive team. You will also have a strong student-focused outlook, and will be a forward thinker and passionate practitioner.
