Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with the worlds largest Geodata company to recruit a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will receive a salary of up to £100,000 along with a very attractive benefits package. This organisation is based in Wallingford and offers hybrid remote working.
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and should have previously worked for a large international company.
Primary responsibilities -
1. Review actuals reported monthly, including BS reconciliations and identify where follow up/ adjustments are needed. The Financial Controller needs to ensure that the actuals reported in the P&L and BS are correct and complete
2. Accountable for all statutory and tax compliance activities of the country. Statutory financials and internal and external audits will be led by the financial controller but will be performed by the GL and Financial Controller together
3. Is responsible for the business control of the overhead costs in the country. Is not responsible for the full P&L of the country from a business perspective
4. Manage the Cash Flow of the entity (incl. Intercompany loans)
5. Coordinate the finance team for the activities to be performed for the upload in Tagetik and central reporting. (Coordinate is not manage)
6. Responsible for correct implementation of the ICFs related to the entities in the country
7. Supports the implementation of new standards in the country and in setting up new policies and standards across EUAF in cooperation with the Global and Regional Finance Team

8. Qualified Accountant
9. Understands major business drivers as well as the impact that organisational structure and process has on operations. Pragmatic, holistic, critical and challenging.
10. Gains trust from senior stakeholders, both external as well as internal. Can effectively function in a matrix organisation - dealing with accountability and responsibility across multiple matrix lines.
