Our growth trajectory is set to high and we are looking for a best in class candidate to join our team. The role of the Bid Executive is key to the on-going success and future growth of Parkingeye. Reporting into the Bid Manager, you will be responsible for introducing and coordinating the bid response process for specified contracts, developing and maintaining a knowledge base of ‘standard’ answers and templates, as well as identifying ways to improve the quality, consistency and efficiency of the bid response process. As a key interface with our prospective customers, you will set the standards in customer service. To do this effectively you will need to liaise with other teams and senior stake holders to ensure submissions are made on time and to the required quality. Hybrid role between Working from Home and working in our Head Office in Chorley. Duties include: Drive bid process for specified contracts and be first point of contact for customer and internal stakeholders Complete PQQs, EOI and any preliminary market engagement questionnaires Write tender response first drafts, coordinate/review first drafts from our external partners and liaise reviewal of final drafts Support the bid process for any other contracts Arrange all meetings with relevant stakeholders to meet all bid deadlines, ensuring board sign off is completed 48 hours before submission deadline Lead kick off meeting for specified contracts Circulate all clarification questions internally and amend proposed solution accordingly Liaising and engaging with key business stakeholders to ensure that all bid submissions led by you, give us the best winning but profitable option Maintain computer based bid library both during an active bid and also between bids to ensure we have answers to possible future bid questions to include reference materials Create template proposals for less complex bid responses and add to Bid Library Develop knowledge of the business, its products and services by reading and review previous bid and design documents and spending time with pre sales, technical and commercial functions Lead as Framework Manager and report monthly business contracted through our frameworks Lead bid/no bid reviews Monitor/managing all portals and OEJU notices, source and track opportunities, sourcing new opportunities and registering the company on new portals Produce key risk document ahead of the kick off meeting for bids you are leading on Assist the Sales team with presentations for all customer meetings following tender submission Support all next stage meetings until contract award Organise and arrange site visits – ensure they relevant people are attending and providing me with the correct information to assist with the response on all bids Liaise closely with the following departments: technical, sales/account management, who will manage the contract once it has been awarded on all bids Liaise with Legal to identify any contract showstoppers Lead handover meetings with ‘project’ team members and key stakeholders following a successful win, ensuring they are aware of the solution we have offered on all bids Complete all new supplier applications/accreditation portals Keep track of all tenders for reporting purposes Keep up to date with new legislations/new ways to improve our bid process Candidate Profile: At least 2 years experience in Bid process Excellent communication skills, especially written English grammar, spelling & vocabulary, ability to create compelling written documents Demonstrable commercial understanding of pricing methods and profitability Strong communicator to engage with all stakeholders Excellent IT Skills – Excel and Word Able to work to tight timescales particularly when developing proposals Substantial experience using MS Office including Word and PowerPoint Parkingeye is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their sex; religious or similar philosophical belief; political opinion; race; age; sexual orientation; or, whether they are married or are in a civil partnership; or, whether they are disabled; or whether they have undergone, are undergoing or intend to undergo gender reassignment.
