We are working on behalf of a Children's Services unit that is seeking Support Workers to join their full-time/permanent team. The service provides valuable support to families in the area with their children.
The facility cares for students with a wide range of special needs, primarily focusing on Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs.
The role
The support worker role here is highly varied, involving mainly 1-1 support to help young people develop confidence and skills for life beyond the site. The approach is child-centred, with individualized care programmes tailored to each young person.
They are ideally looking for full-time staff, with hours flexible depending on the candidate's availability. Candidates should have some experience with SEN/SEMH; applications from support workers with a care background and prior experience working with children are very welcome.
