We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time MHE Driver in a well-established operation in Thatcham, RG19 4ND.
Pay Rate as a full time MHE Driver:
* Payrate: £14.78 p/h
Typical working hours as a full time MHE Driver:
* Shift pattern: Monday to Friday with adhoc weekends.
* Shift times: 2pm to 10:30pm
* 45 mins break (15 mins paid)
**We will need staff to be flexible on shift times**
Your role as an MHE Driver:
* Operating Manual Handling Equipment (MHE), particularly pallet trucks, counterbalance, high level order pickers and Reach trucks
* Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy warehouse environment
* Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto bulk racking or pallets
* Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
* Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
* Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
* Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures
Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous MHE experience required within a Warehouse/Distribution Centre environment
* Must be able to work at height
* Ability to communicate professionally
* Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
* Ability to follow H&S procedures
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Must be able to speak and understand English language
* Ability to be flexible in relation to shifts & hours
* Must be able to work weekends as needed
