Job Description:
Join a fast-paced Global Procurement Organization team focused on Amazon Operations. As a Site Procurement Manager, you will lead strategic procurement projects, collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors, and drive continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability.
Key responsibilities include:
* Understanding business needs and managing complex, high-value projects across multiple sites.
* Building stakeholder relationships and negotiating with vendors on costs and timelines.
* Using systems to analyze metrics, supplier performance, and risks.
* Leading procurement processes from needs identification to contracting and execution, utilizing tools like Coupa.
* Creating and managing contractual agreements and ensuring compliance.
* Supporting procurement projects at national and EU levels, collaborating with global teams.
* Managing supplier performance, conducting reviews, and ensuring proper invoicing and payments.
* Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for categories, identifying savings, and supporting strategy development.
* Embedding sustainability goals and ensuring CSR compliance.
* Meeting KPIs related to savings, sustainability, and compliance.
* Ensuring adherence to procurement policies and leading stakeholder education and meetings.
* Providing training to other buyers and potentially extending SME responsibilities to the EU level.
About the team:
The Operations team supports the entire customer experience, managing fulfillment centers, delivery stations, and logistics to ensure timely delivery. The Site Procurement Operations team collaborates with stakeholders and suppliers to support on-site procurement solutions.
Basic qualifications:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or significant procurement experience.
o Experience in procurement environment.
o Proficiency in MS Office.
o Experience in sourcing and contract management.
o Negotiation skills.
o Contract management skills.
o Proficiency in English and local language.
Preferred qualifications:
o Degree focusing on Procurement or Supply Chain.
o Experience in a large, global organization.
o CIPS/EIPM accreditation or similar.
o ERP experience (SAP/Coupa).
o Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
o Self-motivated and customer-focused.
o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
