Overview
This position is within Derbyshire County Councils Public Health Department and involves supporting the delivery of Tobacco Dependency Treatment across maternity and inpatient services based at Royal Derby Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Provide treatment and support to patients as part of the Tobacco Dependency Treatment programme.
* Work independently within maternity and inpatient units, ensuring high quality data through IT systems.
* Partner with other healthcare professionals and promote the programme within the hospital.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* Knowledge and understanding of behaviour change concepts.
* Experience of working independently.
* Strong partnership working and promotional skills.
* Good IT literacy for navigating systems and maintaining accurate data.
* Knowledge and experience of tobacco dependency is advantageous.
* Availability to work 37 hours a week, with potential flexibility in hours.
