We’re on the hunt for a Change Director to join our Technology and Data Senior leadership team.
The Change Director will play a critical role in driving and managing enterprise-wide change initiatives and is a key role within the Technology & Data senior leadership team. The role holder will be responsible for iterating and improving the Group’s Change Strategy (a part of the Technology & Data Strategy) and will work closely with engineering functions to enhance the Group’s Change Delivery Framework, which aims to generate significant enterprise value from our bespoke technology and data products.
You’ll lead a team of change professionals aligned with the organisation's sources of value, supporting the business in prioritising, planning, and executing change initiatives. By designing and operating empirical measurement systems, you’ll ensure a seamless link between Technology, Business Functions, and Finance, helping to realize tangible benefits within the organisation.
The Change Director will collaborate with senior leaders across the organisation to ensure successful change implementation and alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards. You’ll also lead executives and the Board through retrospective and forward-looking plans and contribute to strategic business planning exercises.

Key responsibilities include:
* Ownership of the Group’s Change Strategy and Change Delivery Framework
* Developing and implementing change management strategies across the enterprise
* Assessing change impacts and developing mitigation strategies
* Collaborating with business and technology teams to address implementation barriers
* Leading teams of Value Stream Leads and Product Owners managing specific enterprise change efforts
* Maintaining the Group’s Enterprise Change Plan and prioritisation processes
* Engaging with committees, ExCo, and Boards to align roadmaps and understand priorities
* Managing the enterprise portfolio, evaluating changes, and ensuring stakeholder communication
* Overseeing change governance, budgets, and benefit reforecasting
* Identifying and mitigating portfolio risks
* Facilitating business-technology alignment and delivering strategic initiatives
* Providing performance updates to senior leadership and boards
* Ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and regulations
Experience & Knowledge:
* Proven leadership in change delivery functions, designing responsive strategies
* Experience in portfolio management, planning, and mobilisation
* Leadership skills managing diverse teams across locations
* Track record of managing multi-million-pound budgets
* Understanding of project and programme management, scaled agile (SAFe), and IT systems
* Ability to develop business cases with finance and leadership
* Experience engaging third parties and working within regulated industries like Financial Services or Insurance
* Knowledge of FCA requirements and industry best practices in change management
